Hôpitaux Robert Schuman S.A. with its 310 self-employed doctors and 2,300 employees, is looking for a Healthcare Digital Innovation Specialist to strengthen its effort in the project DataSpace4Health (www.dataspace4health.lu) aiming to build a health dataspace through interconnecting various stakeholders from the healthcare ecosystem. By creating a secure health dataspace offering Gaia-X compliant services, the project aims to enable new healthcare services and improve patient outcomes, offering securely health data to researchers while preserving data ownership and privacy.


Vos missions :

The Healthcare Digital Innovation Specialist will support the development and implementation of an AI-based diabetes complication prevention decision support system. Your key responsibilities will be:

AI-Based System Development:
Collaborate with academic researchers to develop and refine AI algorithms designed to diagnose and monitor diabetic patient status.
Provide clinical insights to ensure the algorithms are effective and clinically relevant.
Participate in the testing and fine-tuning of the AI-based system to ensure it meets the designed specifications and clinical requirements.


Gaia-X Compliancy Solution:
Collaborate with IT and academic teams to build the AI system on a Gaia-X compliant ecosystem, ensuring platform, GUI, data interconnection, and data security compliance.
Address challenges and risks associated with implementing Gaia-X compliant solutions, contributing to problem-solving and solution refinement.


Clinical and Technical Liaison:
Serve as a liaison between the healthcare and technical teams, translating clinical needs into technical specifications and vice versa.
Gather feedback from clinicians at HRS hospitals regarding their satisfaction with the decision support system, focusing on communication, display of information, and customization options.
Assist and/or provide training and support to clinicians on how to use the AI-based decision support system effectively.
Project Management and Reporting:
Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time and within scope.
Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing project status, challenges, and outcomes.
Participate in regular project meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.

Votre profil :

Master’s or advanced degree in Medicine, Nursing, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Certifications in Data Privacy, Data Management, Healthcare Compliance, or Health Information Management would be an added advantage
From 0 to 3 years of experience in a relevant healthcare field, with exposure to digital health solutions and innovation.
Previous experience participating in research projects or innovation initiatives within a healthcare setting
Strong background in healthcare, with specific knowledge in diabetes management and patient care.
Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with direct patient care responsibilities.
Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, especially as they apply to healthcare.
Familiarity with digital health solutions, electronic health records (EHR), and data integration technologies.
Understanding of data privacy and security standards, particularly those relevant to healthcare and Gaia-X compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between clinical and technical teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
