Children, young people and families are at the heart of our work.

SOS Kannerduerf Lëtzebuerg is devoted to every child, young person and family. As a key player in childcare in Luxembourg, SOS Kannerduerf Lëtzebuerg accompanies more than 500 children, young people and families every year, thanks to a team of more than 200 dedicated employees.

Since 1968, the mission of SOS Kannerduerf Lëtzebuerg has been to ensure the well-being of children, young people and families facing challenging life situations. The association is committed to creating a world where children receive the love, protection and support they need, and develops projects that encourage them to find their way and achieve their personal, educational and professional plans.

The following services are provided:

• Care for children and young people in our day and night care facilities;
• Selection and support of foster families ;
• Family strengthenig service ;
• Psychological counselling service;
• Specific measures to support children with special needs: animal-assisted pedagogy, experiential pedagogy, art-assisted pedagogy, music-assisted pedagogy, etc;
• Slemo (assisted living for young adults).
