Centre François Baclesse/ National Radiotherapy Center of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg located in Esch-sur-Alzette is a non-profit institution which participates in the public health service of Luxembourg. This is the only institution authorized to deliver radiotherapy or brachytherapy treatments.
Founded in 2000 and directed by Professor Guillaume VOGIN since 2020, the CFB offers patients and their families comprehensive, secure and quality care, in a human and participative approach.
The center aims to develop, with other stakeholders in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, a network of excellence in the field of oncology and post-cancer support. CFB is also involved in cancer research and participates in the training of future generations of caregivers.
